Dan River Tubing
The governor's veto of the fracking bill was overidden in the senate and then in the house within two days of the veto. There was even controversy in the house when one rep pushed the wrong button, immediately asked to change it and was refused. That vote ended up being the deciding vote. Fracking has so many problems that anyone with any little knowledge of the industry would never want this to come to North Carolina. Public sentiment is strongly against it. Yet the majority of our "representatives" supported the bill and the veto override. I never believed until this point that any government body would so blatantly disregard the will and safety of the people to support any industry. Please make sure you know how YOUR representatives voted on this issue when you vote in November. A bunch of them have put greed and power above your health, safety and pursuit of happiness.
